Ethereal jewellery

Just bought this sautoir from french jewellery designer Vlum, it looks a bit like a living glowing organism. Can’t wait to wear it…

Velvet Underground

My heart already started beating at high pace back in Summer 2011 when I first saw these Italia Independent Velvet Sunglasses. I fell all over again in love with these beauties last time in Milano. Will have to schedule a long long weekend so I can get custom spectacle-lenses done. Still pondering between blue or green…

Come sun or rain…

How cute are these rings? LOVE them! With the weather themed rings, the Etsy shop Weaselfactory had to be English, of course.

I bought these bangles in neon green (Nr. 4) and they are beautiful although sometimes a bit clumsy to wear, especially in winter when you try to get your bangles adorned arm through a tight coat sleeve. Looking forward to spring, I can only say;)

Thinking of getting the Maneki-Neko Nestor as well…

Lusting for Celine & Mary (Katrantzou)

I love colours and of course I love Mary Katrantzou. So it’s only natural that her dresses are on my top “wanna” list. Unfortunately, TopShop was sold out faster than a Bieber Concert in the US and prices are climbing skywards on ebay…  The other item, and I’d say it’s about at the same height of the list (meaning top 2), is this Celine Trapeze Bag. I hesitated between the one I bought and this one but finally went for the classic Phantom in cobalt blue. I love its versatility since you can wear it in different ways, making it look like a classic luggage tote or more bohemian-chic with the straps flipping and flapping around.

Jewellery Storage

Over the years, I amassed an impressive  collection of mostly fashion jewellery, also due to the fact that I just can’t bring myself to throw anything away. I end up not wearing a piece for a certain time and rediscover it to fall head over heels in love again. Unfortunately, I like big bulky jewellery and have not found yet a good way of displaying them (my flat is not that big) or to store them. As a temporary solution I am using tool boxes with lots of tiny drawers. Not very stylish but it keeps necklaces from tangling up in one big hot mess. I am still looking for the perfect jewellery storage…
